Nice idea.
This would be an interesting fun game for 2 players.
But for one single player, this game is too easy.

If you place the crosshairs very close to you on the left side/right side/bottom/top,
you'll cause a sharp angle and the ball will move pretty fast.
Most of the time, the NPC fails to hit these fast balls back.

Like I said; this would be an interesting game for 2 players.
If both players got their own screen and both can't see what the other player is doing (crosshairs).

Nice game to prove, that people like to achieve stuff,
no matter how pointless and time wasting it is.
Well, a game without achievements, is not worth playing these days. ;)

Btw, the medals don't work (except the "The Task" one).

...fascinating how the music + fast increasing number makes everything cool.

That's a nice game based on a classic.
The only thing I don't like about this game, is how the red Tralfoids are spawned.
Sometimes it seems it's just a matter of luck, when they pop up.
Sometimes two of them show up. Sometimes another one, shortly after the last one showed up. And sometimes it takes so long, that you ran out of fuel in the meantime.

But beside that, I really like this game.
Good work!

Thanks for the feedback!

A simple, but original game.
Great choice of music, it really creates the right atmosphere.
The game itself is not very challenging, but that's not the idea behind it.
I believe this game carries a message.

This cute, little creation is art.

I played similar games like this one before (i.e. Toss the Turtle and Burrito Bison) and all of them got a certain amount of luck in it. Compared to "Toss the Turtle", there is no way to control the flying nerd (lean back or forth), except the bully, who hits the flying nerd with two different moves, depending on the height of the target.

But in this game you have to choose the right upgrades to succeed, where other games simply need max. stats and max. tools to beat the game (at a certain point those games don't demand much effort anymore).
Overall the game is a quite entertaining time killer.
Personally, I'd like to see shorter levels, but more of them.
I like travelling through different landscapes. :3

If some people are still frustrated and blame the game;
here is a suggestion to beat the game (reach 500k distance)

>All team mates are on maximum level.
Character:
>Bed (max. level = +5 Iron Man)
Equip:
>Stout Metalhead Axe Warning (233 Weapon Power/+7 Creep Magnet/+3 Crazy Collector)
...or something similar like that.
>Fine 8-Ball Warning (+6 Hairy Knuckles/+8 Creep Magnet/+3 Party Animal)
>Stout Poo Stamp Warning (+7 Rebound Master/+6 Creep Magnet/+4 Greasy Stuntman)
...or something similar like that.
Skills: (30) points to spend
>Hairy Knuckles (5) +6
>Creep Magnet (5) +15
>Bruiser (3) +2
>Iron Man (5) >> green 10
>Party Animal (2) +3
>Like a Boss (0)
>Rebound Master (5) +7
>Crazy Collector (0) +3
>Greasy Stuntman (5) +4

Try to get as much "challenges" as possible and finish them with gold to unlock team mates for the battle field.

This way there should be many creeps, due to Creep Magnet. Your nerd doesn't lose speed so fast and gains much speed/jumps high by hitting creeps. The bully recovers faster and has decent strength. A decent amount of team mate vehicles/gadgets will show up.

The rest of the story is right timing and technique + luck (patience & time).

Good work!@creator
Cheers!@everyone

Nice game, but I think hitting space bar to pick up weapons isn't the best choice.
It is really uncomfy to play that way.
How about an "auto-pickup-item" option? Or instead of space, choose "E" (or create an adjust option, so the player can choose the key by himself). The Game starts lagging a bit when those tanks are entering the battle field.

Snakebee responds:

The design choice behind the item-pickup system is so that the player doesn't accidentally pick up a weapon he/she doesn't want. (I always hated that in games like Raiden) I'll definitely consider alternative control schemes or in-game key binding in the future.

Really like this game!
After spending some time on this game, I can see no flaws at all.
One button control (Z=thrust) works perfect. The game is not lagging.
There are no random, unfair elements, which could turn the game into a "luck game"
and less "skill game". And the music and sounds work fine with the game.

Personally, I think this simple game has a high motivating - and low demotivating factor.
But it depends on the player's patience though. Such kind of games are uncomfy for your brain
(like those two-handed multitasking games) - give it some time and you'll might enjoy this game.

"BABURU" (latest release) and "GRAVNAV" are pretty nice games.
Seems "devman115" and "LIDgames" make a good team.

Good work!
Cheers!

At first, it was pretty uncomfortable to get used to the behaviour of the controls.
But if you give the game a chance and practise a bit, you'll get a feeling for the grapple, its speed
and get an eye for the distance and right timing.
Even if you now got comfy to the controls, reach higher scores easier;
the game itself stays entertaining, although there seems to be no change in the enemy spawn interval
or the level complexity (some are easier, some are more difficult - it's a random up and down).

Complaints:
The "rope" of the grapple is white. This is sometimes pretty confusing with white backgrounds.
Not sure if this is part of the game, but a yellow rope would be way better.
Bugs:
Sometimes there are no enemies in the level
(but you can hear the spawn sound). This happened rarely though.

Good work! Cheers!

devman115 responds:

Hey, glad to hear you like the game so much! We actually just uploaded a new version that addresses the issues with those light backgrounds, as well as making it more clear you can change directions mid-air. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice old school-ish game!
I like the simple one-hand-control (WASD or left, right, up, down) and the simple, but original idea of certain blocks that make you shrink, jump or can kill you instantly.

Btw, I think there is a bug in level 2-9. I died several times just by touching the dolphin
(the one that is made of jump blocks and which has the first acess token).

Good work! Cheers!

gametronstudios responds:

It's going to be fixed and included in the next release (Sector 4) Ty.

Nice idea!
I'm seeing such virtual thing on NG for the first time.
Too bad there is no chocolate inside. :P

Cheers & happy 1st of 24 days day!

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

mmmm... chocolate!
